We are the mothers of those who serve their country here and abroad. It's our mission to protect them, and to see that they are returned safely. It is also our mission to see that the health and welfare of our veterans and their families is a priority of a grateful nation.

Troops on the look-out for IED's in Afghanistan. These are responsible for the appalling number of loss of limb incidents.

Thank you for visiting our new Internet site. At present, our web site is still under construction. We are making an effort to keep you informed and involved in the needs of our military service members.

In the meantime, we would love to hear your personal story for inclusion in a new work about those who have suffered the anguish and heartache of mothers of children at war, as well as those who have returned with the difficulties to difficulties of life at home. You can write on Nita's blog page. If you e-mail contact information, she will contact you in return.

Mothers who fear, who act, and who are intensely protective of the once-children, who are now men and women in harm's way.
